rear sight removal m93

anyone know how to get the rear sight off an m93 norinco- mine's shoved away over to the left and the screw goes only so far- even loosened up all the way- that just moves it further left- i need it to go right- dead tight, she's on the last hash mark on the right hand side

I think that the sight is in a dovetail & you should be able to move it or take it completely out with a brass drift punch & a hammer.

Check if there is a screw that tightens it into the dovetail first. If so just loosen it up.

there's a crown gear on the windage screw that's half-buried into the slide- that's what it shows on the diagram- you have to knock that gear off the shaft somehow to get the sight off- believe me, i've done all the usual things
