Im looking to get a vortex strikefire for my norc m4 and would like to get a rear sight to cowitness.

anyone got any ideas? nc star? magpul? I plan on using the stock front sight for now. flip down preferred

thanks

A good choice for a decent quality rear sight is one from Magpul. They are perhaps a little more $$ than you are looking to spend; however, the quality is good (and less cost than some of the high end sights). That said, I have a set of Troy clone sights (found on ebay) that seem to be well built. For the 500 +/- rounds fired with these sights, I have not had a single issue. If I remember correctly, I paid $65 CDN shipped to my house. Another option is to watch the EE for a good used sight for a reasonable price (be cautious on the EE, many parts cost more for used than they are new).

That is the one. I am very happy with mine.

Thanks! How it holds zero? and does it accurate as the A2 handle sight? I haven't decide which red dot to go with but figured may be replace the handle first with the MBUS so when I get the red dot I only need zero the red dot and can have them co-witness.

The sight should hold its zero; mine has perfectly. I have not read/heard about any issues with the sight not holding zero. Accuracy has not been an issue (although I use my Vortex SPARC more than the Magpul's).
