Rear sights

I'm looking for some info on a rear sight I'm trying to locate.

I don't know the make of the 22 it came from.

It fits into a 3/8 dove tail with a 2 or 3 inch blade, a V notch rear sight and it had a dialed elevator instead of the saw toothed ramp.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can help me out, sure would like to hear from you.

Okay, I found out it was not from a 22, Dad says he salvaged the sight from an old Remington pump action rifle after being run over buy a truck, (now I know why I always got s**t for leaning a gun against the car).
Anyway, he put the sight on his gopher gun, which he kept in the barn, unfortunately the burn burned down back in 1965.
I have searched the net. for Remington rifles and found no ref.. to the sight yet.
