ruger number 1, an I see one online for $2150 in as new condition.. but not new. similar to mine lol.

yeah, we pay thru the roof mate.. an therefore a lot of our market is them budget end models in the plastic fantastic.. even a model 70 all weather would be 2g + .308

To me the 303 is just about the best hunting round EVER. Having it in a Ruger#1 is that much better though I still have strong feelings for the Lee Enfield. I vote NO SALE.

That's a toughie. Those rifles are of pretty limited availability and not likely to see many more produced in the foreseeable future. I kind of wish I had bought one when they originally came out but I didn't, not because I think that I would use it a lot, but they are cool and unique.

If and when you sell it I would be willing to bet that it will end up as one of those "Shoulda kep it" rifles that come along from time to time.

I had one for a couple years and liked it , but it didn't fit well and actually shot no better than my old Ross despite the fact that it was scoped so I traded it off..... No regrets.

I was going to buy one but since I had a 220 Swift I didn't use, I turned it into a 303 Epps instead. Worked out well.

I don't use mine much but I really like it. Put it this way- I've sold rifles that I use far more than my 303 #1, without regret, but i think I would regret the sale of the #1

Yah .....saw the ad....sleep depraved.....thought LE, not Ruger #1. My previous buy sell was the Warren Buffet method of stocks.....buy>>>>keep. Now i move a few in and out>>>>>a few regrets. My regrets are if my bargain buy sells for less than i think it should, or if there are people/memories attached to the item. Have about a safe full of pretty much untouchables.
