Running a GSG 22 conversion kit on a Norinco 1911a1 frame .Without breaking the bank what is a reasonable brand 22LR powerful enough to rack the slide and have reasonable accuracy. Will Blazer cci do the job? Anybody have this set up and what do you think of it for Target practice and plinking?

My GSG needed CCI Stingers at first (there was a thread here that recommended them for the GSG break-in) , but now that it is fully broken in, it likes Fed Auto Match and CCI Mini Mags, I don't remember trying Blazer, but I would think they would work too.

Try a bunch of different brands, preferably high velocity copper plated, and buy a bunch of whatever works well for your pistol.

anything high velocity plated works really well in my GSG-1911. Even before I put the upgrade kit in, it worked very well.
