reasonable spotting scope, NON rubber coated

hey guys,

im after a spotting scope thats not rubber armoured .. just want ABS or metal body so it can be camo'd to suit my rifle.
if anyone can point me at a model or brand that they know of..
i prefer a straight design or at least parallel tubes

Not too many out there. Some of the older Leica models and perhaps Kowa are non armoured. For a bargain spotter, perhaps the Bushnell Discoverer.

the bushnell excursion 15-45 looks like what im after.. got ranging reticle as well..

I think you would be lucky to see these bullet holes at 100 yds with this quality of scope. For 200-300 yds I think a spotter in the $400 range would be required. Phil.

Some of the nikons can still be found without rubbur armour.

also the vortex razor! but then you're pushing in to higher grade glass with an $1800 price tag.

Redfield Rampage might fit the bill. 20-60 x60mm. Not sure if 1mm exit pupil at 60 x would be that easy to use for an eyeglass wearer.
