I sent my scope to sightron to repair they were backordered on my scope, so I decided to upgrade to a sightron sIII 8-32x56
I beleive that it has a 30 MM tube.

What would be a decent ring to buy for this. It is on a ken farrel o moa base.

I use Farrell rings. Their standard height rings will be high enough for you, I think.

PICATINNY SCOPE RINGS
* Mfr:FARRELL INDUSTRIES, INC.

* Unique Clamping System Ensures The Maximum Amount of Torque

100% machined, solid steel, scope rings use an innovative, built-in, radius clamp that gives you outstanding torque and a solid fit. When you tighten the large Torx screw, a convex extension on the moveable jaw is forced into a matching, concave recess on the ring for exceptional clamping power. Rings in each set are simultaneously machined and uniquely numbered for ultimate consistency between the pair. Skeletonized caps reduce weight, not overall strength. Fits Picatinny rails.
SPECS: Steel barstock, blued, matte finish. Fits picatinny rails. Height measured from top of base to inside bottom of ring. Available in: 1" (25.4mm) Standard - .335" (8.5mm); 1" (25.4mm) High - .535" (13.6mm); 30mm (1.18") Standard - .243" (6.2mm); 30mm (1.18") High - .443 (11.3mm).

NO dont use the 1" rings as a larger set. The inside shape is eccentric and will mar up your scope big time. Then I don't think they are even close to the right size.

30mm Burris Sig Zee rings are available if interested. Burris XTR, Leupold PRW's, Farrells are all excellent rings and also available.

Let me know...

I just bought these for my 8-32x56mm. They seem like the highest reviewed for the reletivley low price, allthough Im pretty sure the inserts are only available in the 1" rings, and the 30mm ZEE rings' inserts are not for adjustments

I have farrell rings on my 8-32 as well. Heavy duty freakin rings they are. From Jerry of course ;)

I got high rings and they clear the barrel with only a few mm to spare. I have it mounted on a Stiller base on a stiller action and a heavy varmint barrel.

The farrel action is a little taller (I have one on my .308) so you might be ok with a standard, but high would be safer unless you don't mind returning it if it doesn't work.

I have used the Vortex Tactical rings with great success, and I am waiting for a set of the Precision Matched rings for my Razor scope. The Tacticals are excellent value for the money, and when I had to remove my scope because some idiot (me!:redface:) didn't adjust the sizing die right, the scope went back on and it returned to a perfect zero! I was very happy with that!

30MM rings are availible w/ +/- 10 inserts. They've saved my bacon a couple of times.
