Rebarelling a prohib HK P7M10?

P7 pistols are "restricted". I went through this with CFC when I moved to Canada, was told the P7 was "prohibited", and sold my PSP. Later, I was told that it was in fact "restricted", and I own a registered P7M8 now. The measurement is close, but the barrel is "restricted" length. Measure it by placing a rod down the barrel on the pistol with the breech closed, which is how Canadian firearms law requires the measurement to be done. Do not measure by taking off the slide and measuring the barrel by itself.

Dont listen to these guys.. I take it off your hands for $200.00 LOL.. Just kidding... They are Restricted.. not prohibited.. as the 2 astute CGNers have said.. get it measured correctly and reclassified..

Sorry for the confusion guys, I should have been more specific in my initial post.

1. The owner of the pistol has his 12.6 and is interested in selling.

2. I don't have my 12.6.

3. The owner of the pistol has had it measured and apparently it's been ruled to be prohib.

I'm not sure how it was measured or by whom, but I'll see if the issue can be revisited.

Thanks for all the input.

Have it remeasured. A few years ago the CFC was reminded they have to round up on barrel length and P7 pistols became restricted. Once it is reverified it will be restricted.
