rebarrel or rebore

Very hard to get a barrel rebored here in Canada - I think ONLY RKS does them and its a LONG wait so much faster to rebarrel .

RJI feel that there may be motr toot than that. If your 308 was a real good shooter it may be a candidate for a rebore. Other than that a rebarrel may be what you want. It is not uncommon for for a barrel to have had a bend in it during manufacture or a bore right not in the centre of the barrel. By reboreing these you may be compounding problems,
