got a chance to buy a sako deluxe in 243 winchester. was wondering where would the best place to get it rebarreled to 308 winchester? or can it be rebored?

Very nice rifle. Maybe more economic to leave that one in original condition because it will likely retain its value, or appreciate in value, much better that way and buy a 308 rifle?

Ron Smith rebores barrels ( do quick search for his contact information) but has a long wait time but is more economical than a rebarrel job that would be north of $650 these days with the price of barrels. If you realy love the gun it makes sense but it would be less expensive to find the same rifle in 308.
