I have been shooting a Ruger M77 in 30-06 for a number of years now as my main hunting rifle. I would like to replace the old wood stock with a synthetic one and will try bedding and doing some trigger work on it myself. I am also going to armacoat it. I am looking for some suggestions on suppliers (in Canada) for a camo or blk stock to fit the M77 witht a tang safety.

I can't help with who has one, but I really like my Bell & Carlson synthetic stock on my old M77 (300WM). It fits me better and the recoil seems less somehow.

Good luck finding what you are looking for!

I know of no Canadian manufactures that have an "off the shelf" stock for the M77 Mk 1. Brown Precision used to make a nice one stateside. not sure if they still do, and I have a Lee Six stock laying around for one. Ian Robertson who posts here is Cdn and can probably make you whatever you like, and it might be worthwhile checking with wildcat Stocks, another Canadian firm to see what they make. - dan
