Reccomendation for a Budget shotgun for 3gun and trap shooting?

Can anyone recommend a good shotgun in the 6-800 range after tax that would be suffice for 3-gun as well as trap/skeet?

Have a look at the Stoeger M3K for semi auto. It's close to that price range.
Check out the different versions of the Remington 870 for a pump.

I also would recommend the Stoeger MK3. I use mine for exactly what you want to, 3 gun and trap, but mainly 3 gun.

I rock a stoeger m3k. A $35 M2 extractor and it keeps up with any so far.

Ive never shot 3-gun but I do have an 870 tac-2. I ran into this problem where it would fail to extract. I guess the inside edge of the receiver wears slightly down and makes a depression. When the single extractor tries to pull the spent casing out, it would jam. I would literally have to smash the butt on the ground to extract some times. After some googling, I took it apart and dremeled the lip away and polished it smooth ash as I could. Its better now, but still funky.

Anyway, I still love my 870, but I don't consider it a reliable design any longer. And wouldn't rely on it personally in any match. Id be looking for something with a double extractor or different extraction system.
