Hi

Just wondering....I received the registration approval from the RCMP by email. It also stated in the email that I should receive my registration results within two weeks...under what circumstances do I need to call about this transfer? Or do I just wait for snail mail and then contact the dealer?
Thanks.

Is it the Authorization to gtransfer you received by email? If so, that allows you to pick up or seller to ship your firearm.

Snail mail will deliver your registration certificate

email the dealer to tell him it is approved, he sould also have the email, but take a copy with you when picking up your new gun.
If this is first, don't take to range till you get the cert in the mail, and you will get a new rpal card as well with your conditions, to go to range.
Take a locking case, and a trigger lock if you are picking it up.
If mailed , just phone or email the dealer and then just wait till it shows up in the mail, or at the Post office,

You don't have to phone the CFC, it is done, If it was a private sale them you do have to phone in to complete the transfer, but not from a dealer, he does it all.

Focus909.....no, just a form that showed my application number, the date received and number of firearms, and that the approved registrations have been issued. Ther ewas nothing attached, and that's all the information on the email. Also said "If you have not received all of your registration results within 2 weeks please contact CFP"
Not sure if I should expect the certificates by email or snail mail, hence my original question.
