True there’s a good 1/4” of bolt clearance at the moment. I bought it used as a package from Reliable Gun.

I have a FS 527 in 22 Hornet. Shoots very well . Try James Calhoun for a low lift bolt handle

The pictured rings are Leupold Ringmount High's... I subsequently switched to the Ringmount Mediums for a better fit. The scope is a Leupold VX-2 3-9X40mm.

I love mine in 7.62x39mm. Accurate with all the ammo there is and eats steel and surplus like a champ.... mounted a 2-7x vortex and it's all I want in a short range deer carbine.
I like the gun so much that I ordered the big brother in 308.

I have a CZ 455 .22 also with a full stock and I will be keeping it forever. Very happy with CZ. Yours has some nice curl in the Turkish Walnut

I have the CZ 550 FS in 7x57 & 9.3x62. Really nice rifles. Had the CZ527 in 7.62x39. Really accurate little rifle. Liked the Hornady 123gr SST's
