recent Marlin Papoose price drop

I've been thinking about getting a Marlin Papoose, and I noticed both Wholesale Sports and Cabela's recently dropped its price from $400 to $300. I wonder if theye're the same as previous ones.

Has anyone got a new $300 Papoose recently ? Is there any changes to either the gun or the carrying case ?

i have been wanting to try one myself,but i am not into stainless & plastic.
so if any one wants to buy a new one,i will be looking for your older model.

Hopefully it's just honest merchants passing on the savings they've made with the recent exchange rate.

The plastic stock is nice because it's hollow, the butt plate does come off with a little tinkering and can be filled with some survival gear and ammo.
