Rechamber from .375 H&H to .375 Ruger

Is it possible to rechamber a Ruger No. 1 from .375 H&H to .375 Ruger?

I think you'd find you would have to set back the bbl as the Ruger is shorter than the H&H chamber.

If you want more horsepower, it may be easier to do the AI treatment to the H&H and just buy the custom dies.

You could also rechamber to 375 Ultra, and load down to 375 Ruger velocities, using cheap, readily found brass and dies.

Why not make it a 375 WSM Seriously I've had an Ackly and a JRS. They make very impressive rounds. You can launch 300s comfortably at 200 fps faster than the H&H and fire factory if needed.
