I have a barreled action that I would like to have a .308 chamber cut and head spaced. It is a large ring mauser action that has a 30 cal barrel re-threaded to fit. What would a gunsmith charge to do this.
If you are close to Orillia check out Wise Choice on the highway. He did my Mauser for about $120. The barrel was already threaded and short chambered, so yours might be a bit more.
