For a reciever sight,..or as they as usually called "Apeture"..or peep sights i would look up Williams Sights,..i don't have the website address handy,..but if you do a search it will come up,..i got a Williams reciever sight for my Ruger 10/22,.....much better than the factory open sights.

Tang sights are classic but personally I find they get in the way of me handling and cycling the rifle.

Does your 39A have the two holes in the side of the receiver, or holes on top for the scope rail? There are two different Williams sights sold, so make sure you get the right one.

The Lyman sights are a little nicer IMO, but only work if you have holes in the side, either factory or you drill and tap.

Get ones that go on top....
