On the Hogdon reloading data site there are recipes listed for 7MM-08 using a Nosler 175gr Partion. Can I use the same Data for a Hornady 175gr sp interlock.
 
Thats usually what I do, the COL they give may be different for the 2 bullets, but I seat close to the lands anyway.
 
Thanks for the info, will give it a try. Better safe than sorry with this hobby. I havent tried loading to the lands yet want to get more experience with the reloading first. I have both Nosler 175gr partions and the Hornady 175gr Interlock will load both see which give best grouping.
 
Yep. Load for the bullet weight. Except for Barnes bullets(they're solid copper mostly), who made the bullet doesn't matter.
You will have to work up the load, not just pick one, though.
