We just got one of these guys from lever arms and quickly came to the conclusion it's going to need some sort of recoil pad. The solid plastic folding stock is relentless. Any ideas on what would fit on it?

Looks like this:

I bought one of these from Lever Arms as well. First thing I did was install a remington synthetic stock with a rubber pad. :)
As for the folding stock, I plan on cutting off the last 3/4" on a bandsaw then drill a couple holes so I can secure a pad to the end of it.

Check the Limbsaver pads before you cut, they have a few different ones and you may not need to cut so much off. But... excellent idea. Those limbsaver pads are really nice, I have them on my 12 gauge Remington's and I will be putting them on a couple of my rifles as well.

Any pics or part numbers?

I bought the stock and foregrip set from Reliable for about 90 bucks. The nice thing is it came with the longer screw necessary for installing the stock. The only thing that didn't want to play nice was the foregrip. After a lot of cursing and elbow grease I got the foregrip on, now that sucker is never coming off. :)

I put the knoxx stock on yesterday. What's the significance of the small steel plate between the action and the stock on a shotgun? It appears to be a spacer. Both the stock and action sides are flat and fit perfectly, but the spacer makes a gap between them. Do I need this?

Ok, the spacer comes out according to knoxx. Perfect fit! I'll take it out this weekend and report back! I also have a remington rail mount, red dot sight to put on. The mount needs a little wrestling, one hole seems off by 1/32 ", enough to make the threads miss slightly... I'll figure it out.

Nice. I checked out their webpage. Do you know if a guy could purchase a magazine extension from them?

There! done! Actually, I have a light/attachment I couldn't mount with the front sight. The mount for the red dot it "see-through" and acts like a rear sight "tunnel" if your optic fails. Should be accurate enough for 00 buck.

Good enough for now, I guess I should shoot it!

What are these magazine exensiosn everyone speaks of?

We ended up stopping at a store on our way to the bush last night and grabbing the smallest limb saver they had. Slipped it on the end and held it tight (it was too big) with some elastics. Did the job, saved our limbs. lol
