recoil pad on a tikka t3 stainless

I have a tikka T3 in 30-06 caliber... SO i'm thinking about reloading to get a bit more juice out of it... Does anyone have changed the recoil pad for another one that reduce the shock to the shoulder.... If yes could you include the brand and size of it... Cause this rifle is kicking hard

Limbsaver makes a pad for Tikka's. It's the same pad as the Remmy R3's just doesn't have the name on it. I've put 2 on a couple of my rifles and 1 on a friends, and can honestly say I don't think I'll ever use anything else. They are fairly thick, but they work damn good.

FWIW, I also have a t3 in '06 with a grind-to-fit limbsavers pad, works like a charm.:)
