Recoil pad question

Just wondering if anyone has changed their R3 recoil pad made by Limbsaver for a regular Limbsaver? I just got a new Remington and was just looking at options. Thanks

I have a Remington with a factory R3 pad, please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Remington R3 is identical to the standard precision/grind fit recoil pad the only difference being the branding. Limbsaver also carries a Speed Mount Recoil Pad which appears to have a slicker coating for less snagging and faster shouldering.
