Recoil Spring suggestion

Hey there,

I have the Norc 1911 in 9mm and have been getting problems with the slide catching once the mag is empty. I think a lower spring strenght might help out this issue? If i am correct, what type of spring would you suggest i go for? Help much appreciated.

Are you sure your magazine spring is not the problem? A weak mag spring will do this to you too....

A 10 lb. recoil spring will solve the problem.

The mags are brand new and the mag springs are good. I thinks its more of a recoil problem, im also not using the hottest of ammunition either so a lighter recoil woul help. I just didn't know what strenght number would suffice.
