Recoil Springs for 1911A1C Same as 1911?

Hey guys I need to replace the recoil spring on my Norinco 1911A1C and I'm wondering if the full size 1911 uses the same spring as the 1911A1C? Marstar only seems to have one length of spring so that leads me to believe it'll work with a 1911A1C as well as a 1911. Help?

While a full size 1911 spring might work in a commander length, it might not be the best for your pistol. The proper recoil spring weight is determined by both caliber and barrel length of the pistol.

You can always order direct from Wolff or Brownells. Personally I haven't seen a Nork spring come in the proper weight ever, always a couple pounds or more lighter then what would be OEM for Colt.
Commander .45 should be 18lbs, Gov is 16lbs. Of course they will function with a wide range of spring weight's, if you want it to last it's better to use what they were designed for, or a pound or two heavier IMHO.
