Recomend A Tactical Sling For Winchester Defender

For the fixed stock in single point style you just need the Universal adaptor loop. It fits around the stock right behind the action.

If you want a two point combat sling you can go with the Vickers sling with a fixed buttstock adptor and whichever adaptor you need to hook onto the front.

The problems I've seen with making your own or "knock off" slings are:

1. Low quality fastex buckles - your sling will adjust on it's own because the buckles don't hold onto the webbing properly. This is a pain when running or moving as the weapon slowly gets closer to the ground.

2. Low quality webbing - this is most noticed by your neck as the thinner cheaper webbing cuts into it big time.

3. Made as 3 point - the problem with three point is the extra strap of nylon always gets in the way of the bolt catch, charging handle and gets caught on your gear. There is NO NEED FOR A THREE POINT SLING!

The problem with normal 2 point slings is they are made for carrying your weapon not for combat. The Vickers sling for example is made for combat/shooting. It's quick adjust allows for tight carry mode and longer shooting mode within a second.
