recommend a 9mm 124gr bullet?

yes they are Quigley. let me know how many you want to try and i will get them to you. no promises for February through as i am leaving for Florida and the open on Thursday :}}}}} however i can probably get some in the mail to you on Monday.

No hurry...send me a PM when you get back from Florida (and have a good shoot)

I have a very limited supply of 124gr bdx ammo, and projectiles due monday. It is for the most part sold...did not foresee the demand during the dead of winter.
I am already making a list for my next order. Kurt has put a lot of work into the 124gr, 180gr and 230gr FMJ projectiles..., plus he is tayloring the ammo for IPSC to safely make PF.

The competition is at the Vancouver Swiss club, using club supplied 124gr. Sometimes it's the military issue "pistolenpatrone", and last year it was the Speer "Lawman" 124gr. TMJ, which they say is similar to the Gold Dot. I figured since that's the weight I'll be issued, and that's what CZ recommends, that's the weight I'd practice with.
I've always used the club P210's, but now that I have my Shadow, I'll be bringing that, and figured to practice with what I'll be using. Some of the guys there are absolutely amazing shots. I've managed to win a gong once myself, so I know I can do it, but the last 2 times out I've been disappointed in my results- not enough practice. I've gone through 700 rds, have 100 left, and need to reload.

Some of BDX 147gr ammo was made with Speer plated ammo,...very accurate for a plated bullet. I have fired these for approx. 5000-7000rds out of my Tanfoglio stock2 over the last couple of years. Similiar in performance to the Montana gold 147, although as strange as it sounds, the plated ammo grouped better with three different shooters.

I'm very tempted to try 138gr Frontier ones that Marstar has, seems not a popular one :D and sits nicely between 124 and 147gr... contemplating for over a year now...

I used 138gr Frontier for a few years while 124 was out of stock forever... nice bullets out of Glock... currently switched back to 124 for CZ Shadow.

Out of several brands of TMJ/CMJ I prefer Frontier.

Thank you Stranger.
What powder did you use with 138s? Since it's a longer bullet and I wanna shoot it out Shadow where I go with OAL 1.09", I guess my powder choices will be limited.

I used HS-6 just because I had lots of it... I think it was 5.2gr for 1.12" OAL
