fixed it for ya.

CZ 75 variant is a good first. Glocks are reliable but a little too mainstream for MY taste. M&P 2.0 seems to be a good value for the price. A .22 pistol (everybody should have one) prefered a Ruger Mark IV ($$$) or a Browning Buckmark ($ depending of the variant).

Ruger Mark IV would be my choice from that list..

I would suggest that you choose a pistol that is rather common, reliable, has a proven track record, easy to use and maintain, and that has strong after market and parts support. Glock, M&P, Sig, Beretta, Walther are all pretty solid choices. What ever you go with, remember that you don't have to be stuck with it if you don't like it. You can always unload it on the EE and look for something else. I have had close to 30 different hand guns over the years and I have always kept a Glock on hand because I shoot it the best. I have owned guns that I have craved and searched for only to find that they just aren't for me regard less of how much I wanted to like them.
Good Luck on your search and be sure to post pics when you get your first hand gun.

The Walther PPQ M2 is amazing. I have the 9mm 5" version and it's really good for target shooting. It has one of the best triggers already straight from the factory. As you mentioned small hands, there are 3 different backstraps that comes with the gun so you can just swap to the one that fits you best.

I don't have the biggest hands either but smaller compact guns just don't feel right in my hand and without being able to conceal they just don't make too much sense to me. After handling nearly every pistol at SHOT show I ordered a CZ Phantom and will be ordering a CZ P10F soon, for a smaller size the Glock 48 felt really good as well
