Recommend me a long sight radius BUIS

I'm putting the finishing touches on my Stag 10 and I just installed a Maple Ridge Armoury X1 17" handguard. This results in a 22 3/4" sight radius, which is great. I'm using Magpul BUIS front and rear and I can't help but feel they're not optimized for that kind of sight radius. The whole front sight is visible through the smallest aperture and I find that my eye is drawn to centering the entire sight in the peep instead of just the post.

What would you recommend for BUIS for a longer sight radius like I have here? I'm thinking of the Magpul Pro BUIS but I'm not sure the sight picture will be any better. Also, I'm only interested in folding sights that will fit under a scope.

Scalarworks Peak fixed sights are pretty awesome. They weigh nothing, and seem to work fairly well for me. But maybe consider a HK style front sight to address your problem. The round “horns” seem to help centre the rear peep in the sight picture.

I never ended up putting irons on my stag but I bought a set of the troy folding ones that are metal and they seem pretty decent quality. I find most iron sights come with a fairly bulky front post however.
 
I have always liked the Troy Industries battle sights. HK front & round rear. I have shot a rifle with Knights Armament Corporation (KAC), they are by far the nicest folding sights I have used. Be aware that folding iron sights are generally going to be designed for a 12" (ish) handguard length, so with the longer sight radius you have the 'click' value will be different.

There are lots of good articles on the internet relating the iron sight usage for people who shoot service rifle. But that will apply to fixed iron sights, not folding.

Thank you everyone for your input! I ended up going with a Magpul Pro LR rear and Pro front. I should have them tomorrow. They seem to be somewhat calibrated for 20" sight radius .308. Can't wait to give them a try.
 
Played around with the LR set today. I'm very happy so far. Easily zeroed at 200 yards. The front post has 2 different widths and it came from the factory with the thinner post. The post doesn't rotate when going up and down so I could switch to the thicker post if I wanted. I'm going to stick with the thin post for now. Next I'll be trying the elevation feature at 300 and will fine tune the zero at that distance, especially the windage. Much better sight picture with the Pro front post. Also, the Pro set is much more discrete that the regular MBUS, it looks like about half the size on the rifle. The regular MBUS was rather unsightly with the MRA handguard while the Pro set is a perfect match.
