Recommend me a scope

Hi folks, looking for your collective advice:

I'm looking for a small, light & variable scope for my .22lr bolt action.

I use the scope for 50m plinking at my local club, for 30m running boar as a warm up for the 9.3x62 (less expensive to warm your swing up that way!) and also as an occasional small "critter gitter".

Currently I have an ancient Nikko Stirling 4x32 on the top of it. This works fine and looks right but it is too much magnification in some ways for 50m and certainly too much for running boar. Also, it could do with a little more mag for bunnies out at 100m. So, am thinking something ~2-7x32 or similar.

Also, I like to have a bit of redundancy so I don't want a specific rimfire scope as I'd like the option of putting it on a centre fire rifle the need arises.

What do you reckon folks? Also, can anyone recommend any retailers that will ship to the EU from Canada?

Thank you in advance,

Scrummy

The Leupold VX-2 2-7x33 is a fine choice. I really like Leupold's when you get in the VX-2 lineup and the ones above that. Bushnell also makes an Elite in a 2-7x32. Both these optics are good choices which will certainly hold up to center fire usage. There are many other options from other manufacturers, these are just the two I am familiar with.
