Recommendation for non restricted semi auto rifle?

Got a tavor X95 thinking getting one more rifle for the holiday.

Not really a AR fan(mainly the restricted category part and not much options for outdoor range), but if the price is right and design is cool, gun is reliable I am in.

If not a specific model, any brand I should definitely consider?

Bullpup wouldn't be the first choice as I got the Tavor.
Not sure about how reliable of Kriss Vector is.
Haven't had any thought about other rifles yet. Open for any suggestions.

Budget is under 3k, I guess that should cover most of the mainstream rifles.

Just sold my stag 10 this week. Hard to believe I sold it. Such a beauty. I can’t afford plinking with 308 and don’t have a chance to hunt while I raise two little ones on my own but if I did it over I’d go for the modern sporter receiver set and build a 223 to blast with and shoot varmints
