Hi, I contacted Hogue and they advised me that their grips do not work on the Sig Sauer P226 Tactical Operations!

I want to replace the extended Magwells that come with that pistol, with regular sized grips for the 10-round magazine.

Is there another high quality grip that I can buy for that pistol?

Thank you,

TDM

I think the only grip difference between the Tacops and other P226's is the extended Magwell type. So if Hogue make's a grip to fit a reg P226 you should be good to go.

if you have girl hands then E2 grips

Normal hands then Hogue M10 grips

Hulk hands then Hogue rubber grips

If you you have giant hands..or regular hands...or tiny little kid hands and find the E2 grips comfortable, get those.

If the donkey in the next lane with REAL man hands wants to take the piss...smile, add him to your "People who are Retards" list and proceed to continue enjoying your comfortable and rather fine example of fire power.

Comfort has nothing to do with proper fit, a gun that fits the shooter properly will be more accurate then a gun that only feels comfortable.

Proper grip and trigger finger placement are very important when maintaining good trigger control.

guess I should lose the pillows I swapped my E2's for...derp, derp

a grip that fits the shooter (100% subjective) + confident access to controls = comfortable
