Hi ,

Looking for a gunsmith who can make me a faux suppressor ? Someone you recommend ? Obviously we can’t own the real thing but trying to complete a look for my mk12 mod1. Only reason I asked because it has to fit onto my ops inc Allen engineering muzzle brake w collar.

Thanks.

I think you'll be hard pressed to find a gunsmith who will make a one-off faux can. Given the amount of work for it to fit the collar and be safe to shoot through, it would either cost you a lot in hours or a loss at the gunsmith's expense.

There are a couple sponsors bringing in fake cans as there were recent posts on it. Not cheap either.

Thanks for the reply. Figures it was gonna be one of the two options you said. Maybe I’ll try look in the states as they did make faux suppressor for the ops inc brake. Maybe someone else has a different option.

I don't think any licensed gunsmith will want to take the chance making a " faux" suppressor, to much to lose and we don't know what happens after it walks out the door. Make it your self.
