Recommendations for an AR 15 LPK with a decent CQB trigger

My existing AR has a surprisingly decent Spikes Nickel Baron trigger in it.

I am budget building up a second AR and am looking for a LPK that comes with a decent trigger. Not looking for a really light pull just a good quality battle trigger with very litle takeup and a short reset. Something good for CQB or 3 gun.

My current setup is just under 6 lbs with the Spikes NB trigger, has almost no takeup and is super crisp with an incredibly short but somewhat loud reset. Really quite surprising for a cheapish trigger.

Do any LPK's come with a decent trigger or am I going to have to buy an LPK and chuck the trigger it comes with and get another?

Recommendations?

Dealers welcome.

Many thanks in advance,

Marc

No new firearm comes with a decent trigger due to frivolous U.S. law suits. All of 'em require a trigger job out of the box.
Just under 6 pounds is kind of heavy. Timney triggers are 3, 4 or 4.5 pounds. Over $200US though.

No new firearms? None? Never?

I think you need to expand your reference material.

K&M Arms m17s556 comes direct with an Elfman 3.5 lb trigger.

ALG triggers will feel the same as your Spike NB tiggers, Since you are not looking for a lighter trigger I would just take some extra fine sand paper and polish up a stock trigger.

I put a Stag LPK in my build and the trigger is much better than my Colt SA20 and my buddy's PWS. Surprised the hell out of me, but there you have it.

I put an ALG trigger into my Norc and the difference is like night and day. I've used it in 3-Gun and it works just fine, much better than the stock trigger.

For well under $100 I don't see how you can go wrong.
