Just received my Atlasworx DBM directly from Australia, made the mistake of assuming that it just required minor fitting. Looks like I'll have to mill out for the profile and depth of the DBM.

Does anyone recommend any gunsmiths (or CNC shops) that can inlet my factory Tikka stock?

Preferable in BC lower mainland, but willing to ship.

Atlasworx have a few different floorplates for the Tikka T3. There are two for AICS mags, 223-308. One of these was pre- CTR rifles and possibly similar to the CDI design. This one would need inletting deeper in the pillar area as well as opening in width. The other AICS version has the CTR footprint. Has CTR in the name. If you want to re-inlet say a T3 Lite plastic stock you might be better off finding a CTR stock instead as this would fit the Atlasworx AICS CTR floorplate.
The Atlasworx AICS CTR as well as original CTR floorplate as well as the T3 Lite floorplate have the same depth in the pillar area.
If you are thinking of the Atlasworx long action AI type floorplate you are better off going to a rifle smith as they can be tricky to position right.
All AICS/AI type Atlasworx mag systems mostly need slight length adjustment in the release lever as these are sold slightly long to cater for the variety of magazines available. Making shorter is easy, making longer is not easy.

I do stock inletting and charge $150 to inlet for DBM. As EJG has eluded to, if you are working with a factory plastic stock, you might look at alternative options.
feel free to pm or email me if you would like to discuss.
