Hi all, looking for new rimfire bolt rifle for wife for paper target practice from 30-100 yards. No need for precision, but 1.5 MOA at 100 would be nice. My MarkII BSEV 22LR is accurate but too heavy for her, and the LOP is a little long.
So we have decided on the following requirements:
-classic style not tactical
-in the 5-6lb range
-13” LOP (ish)
-short barrel 16-18”
-mag fed
-$600~$700 range
-drilled and tapped or pic, or dovetail if that’s all I can get
-no kiddie rifles (cub, scout, rascal etc.)
-don’t really want another 22LR, or existing B22 models
-would like WMR since I already use that cal
seriously waiting for a chance to buy:
-Savage B Series Timber Thumbhole WMR
-Ruger American Rimfire 8371 HMR 16”
Not able to find much that matches the above specs. Hoping someone here has a few more suggestions that may be easier to find
