I've got some low-recoil Score slugs on the way to try out of a Browning BPS /w screw-in chokes.

I've done some digging and it seems like IC is a pretty safe bet for most slugs but wanted to see if the recommendation was different for the Score, which I believe uses the "thug slug".

Obviously some experimentation is in order but was just looking for a starting point. Also curious if anyone has experimented with a rifled choke tube /w this slug.

Thanks

They are a rifled slug so any choke will be ok, I'd try different tubes and see which shot best, FWIW I have a cylinder choked slug barrel foe my Beretta A303 and it shoots remarkably well with cheap Federal 1 ounce slugs. I rarely use slugs for anything but I usually have a box or 3 hanging around.

I always start with cylinder bore and work up to full and see which gives me the best accuracy when trying new slugs, it’s usually mod which also gives me the best shot patterns for walking trails and shooting grouse.
