Recommended hunting bullet for Tikka T3 300 wsm

With the 180gr accubond from your 300wsm you have a bullet well suited to hunting any game species from whitetail to large moose. Once you get past the 165gr range, I would look at one of the 4831's or 4350's, RL 17, RL 19. Or something in that burn range.

I have shot the 180gr accubond and ballistic tip with 65.5gr of IMR 4831 from my 300wsm (win M70). My go to load has changed to the 165gr tsx with 67gr imr4831, my rifle seems to like the tsx a little better. I am going to try out RL 17 once the season ends, a little more speed wouldn't hurt.

I think the best all round 30 calibre bullet for 300 magnum velocities is the 168 gr TSX.

Here are a few critters I've dropped with it.

None of these animals went anywhere, a couple went a little ways most dropped where they stood. The moose was well over 1000 pounds down to the Reedbuck which would barely weigh 75 pounds. The 168 gr TSX kills them all, 3100 fps is easy to achieve with a stout load of H4350 in the WSM.

Nice pics! I would try the 168 tsx or tipped tsx but I can get my hands on any in time so I'm going to try the 180 accubond for this trip. I'll likely order in some tsx for the next time around
