Question of the day:
who is considerate enough to ask their gunsmith if they would like you to recommend them?
the reason i ask is that with all the threads requesting gunsmiths i have noticed the names of 2 recommended gunsmiths that i have dealt with over a number of years. when i first dealt with both of them i asked if they had any interest in any more business. both said no, they were already swamped and didn't need any more work. i honored their request and they are "those who's name shall not be spoken" in fear that if they become more poular my jobs will take longer.
so what do you think, should you ask before you recommend?
