Recover tactical grip/holster

So I'm interested in getting the recover holster from Zahal but the add says the holster only works with the newer CC3H grip system. I bought my 1911 with the recover grips on it. So my question is, how does one tell the diffence between the CC3 grip and the CC3H grip?

Around the dust cover is a square notch ( just below the slide in the last inch of the front of the grip) in the grip for it to lock into place, that is thr only difference I can see.

Passive retention should work with the old grips and active would need the notch, but that is just my opinion after comparing pictures.

Does anyone know if the CC3 grip fits a 1911 railed standard holster?

In Zahal's add dated 05/05/2015 it states that for the next 36 months if you buy the recover holster they'll exchange your CC3 grips for the newer CC3H grips for free, so I'll probably just go that route.
