I recently pulled the bullets and removed the powder from 380 rounds of loaded 40-65 Win. I sifted the powder into 4 groups from Dust to FFg. A lot of work but with the price of powder.
Just for fun I loaded 15 rounds with 5 grs. Dust and 70 grs. FFg. I used a .25" grease cookie between 2 Veggy wads .060" and topped with a tapered "Gibbs" paper patch 555gr. bullet. Very surprised by the results.
