Wow... That looks terrible... but I can see quite a bit of hard work went into it.

I say cut the barrel down, repaint the barrel/mag/reciever, and throw some paint on the stock. Could look real good then

Not a 'red' rifle by any means, I did happen to see a poor old P-14 or M1917 painted with copper metallic flake paint recently

I found this on the web a few months ago...some guy in Finland showing off his Mosin...yup they can have silencers for hunting.

Actually I'm told that it is for health and safety reasons for the shooters hearing, and respect for maintaining peace and quite of the woods with regards to other critters, and other people in the area.

Methinks it is a great idea.

Also I tried to find it but the search engine here sucks...but I know someone a little while back had posted pics of a Mosin that had been painted some strange green and blue colour.

Yes, that little silver baby on the right would sell pretty well if someone made them in numbers and they were reasonably priced.
