I posted previously asking if a Bushnell TRS-25 was a reasonable option and while it does not seem bad, it was also said that the Vortex Sparc 2 or a Holosun were better options for a bit more money. That led me also to the Vortex Strikefire, which is bigger and has some different features as well as the angled mounting system. Between the two Vortexes (Vortices...?) and say the Holosun HS403A, anyone know if there should be a preference on a CX4 Storm to be clear of the open sights?
(Not sure if this is better posted on the forum that would be for the carbine but anyway...). Thanks.

I have a TRS-25 with HiRise on one of my CX4, its a really good option....never had any issue with it. Also, I use the SPARC 2 on my second CX4... The vortex have many mount options included with it, so no problem clearing the sights with that option too and don't forget the "no question asked" lifetime warranty. That's a big plus and also, it feels and look more solid. IMO, you should buy the Sparc 2...

For more cash Aimpoint or Eotech are amazing too...;)

I'm not familiar with the holosun, so can't comment on this one...

I have a vortex strike fire on mine but I have a lower mount than what I believe the newer one comes with? Sits flush with the rail and cowitness' fine.
