Red Dot mounting for FNS 9mm option.

Sight mount is from sight-mount.com/ Ive heard rumors that many gunsmiths will not mill the slide on an FNS pistol for the simple fact their isn't enough meat on the slide, way to risky it's getting close to the striker. only thing that had to get smithed was drilling and tapping the slide and installing a 6-48 screw tapped with a bottom tap.

Yes! It's simply awesome, the low profile rail acts as a rear sight as well without the red dot installed. I've emailed many gunsmiths across Canada to see about getting the slide milled some replied saying NO and never stated why? Others just didn't bother replying so, I looked at other options my fathers CZ-SP01 has a rail as well from the CZ custom shop and both these pistols perform excellent! No complaints

Sight-Mount says on their website, they do the FN mounting in-house.
Who did you get to do the mounting?

Tell the owner of sight-mount which model of FN you have, he borrowed his friends pistol, than here built the dovetail piece Saskatoon gunsmith shoppe installed the kit Had to drill one tiny hole and use a bottom tap for the front screw.
