I put one on my T/C penn. Hunter. I had bought a 1-28 twist barrel for it and wasn't having any luck for accuracy with iron sights. I decided to try a Bushnell Trophy Red Dot on it.I bought a set of weaver bases that had flat bottoms and removed the rear sight and drilled and tapped the barrel for them.I used a 7' bull at 100yds. so I could see black around the red dot. The rifle shot a 2' to 2 1/2' group. That was alot better than I ever got with iron sights.I'm now thinking of doing the 1-66" twist barrel the same way to see if it will shoot better than what it does now.To sum it up, I really like the Red Dot I got from Bushnells......Ken.
Thats not a bad idea, putting that style of sight for a m.l.,
Tasco & Bushnell both have several types,I wonder how they would manage
150grs of powder/pellets?
