Red Dot on Tavor side rail, practical?

Is it practical to have a small Red Dot on the Tavor side rail?
Side rail, not top rail.

I guess not, but won't hurt to ask...
A red dot in an angle is not something new, so I was just wondering if it can be used on the Tavor side rail.
*That way we can have a big nice scope AND a quick Red Dot.

On the very side of the gun or on a 45º offset like that burris? I have a offset set of irons and they work awesome but on the very side of the gun 90º to the top rail no I dont think itll be worty doing and you run a risk of smashing up your rds being on the very side of the gun.

no it will not work tried mounting a trijicon rmr for fun to the side rail better way to go 45 offset or mount red dot on top of your scope with a burris pepr mount
