Red Dot or similar for M&P?

I've been searching all over the interweb for info on this subject.
There doesn't seem to be a lot available for anyone wanting a red dot on their M&P....or else I'm lousy at searching.

Has anyone been successful putting a red dot (or similar) on their M&P?

If so, what type of mount and what type of work needs to be done to get it to fit?

I think the leupold delta point with all the extra mounts, is likely the only one that will work.

I saw a pic online of an M&P with a Burris fast fire where the rear sight is supposed to be.....

I looked online for a few hours/days to find one, but I have yet to find out if Burris even makes one for an M&P.......

That said I'm sure a smith could make a piece of weaver rail to fit. If so any red dot could be mounted!

I have seen an M&P with a Trijicon RMR sight online. I know they make adapters for it.

Take a look at Bowie Tactical Concepts - he mills the slide to accept a J Point etc. You may need a decent 'smith. I'm thinking Gunnar at Armco, Jo Dlask, Cape Custom or Barry at Bits of Pieces could do a decent job.
