So I picked up a Burris FastFire III for my S&W 929...it was a bit of an impluse buy. I've never owned a handgun with any sort of optics, what's the best way to mount it? I'm wanting sleek and low profile, I've seen pics where the red dot mount replaces the rear sight...looked ideal to me, but who makes it???

I have an older square mount, that actually clamps on the barrel and extends backward. No drilling or work on revolver, clamps on tightly.

Been on for a few hundred rounds now no problem. The red dot came from shield in the uk before our dollar #### the bed they also sell as jpoint. I like it a lot.I'm no marksman but ads to the fun Todd
