I have a NEF in .22 hornet I am planing to use for coyotes and foxes this winter. I would like to put a red dot scope on it but most of the ones I have found have a 6 moa dot. I feel this to be a little larger than I need or want. Can anyone recomend a red dot scope with a smaller dot.

Eotech has a 1moa dot with a 65moa circle with quadrant tics around it. Reddots are mainly for close range shooting though, like <100m. I'd take a variable 3-9 scope for the critters myself.......

I got the "Holosight"- type red dot from Marstar, which has 4 reticles with a 2 MOA dot, intending to put it on my Marlin 45-70. It seems to be solidly made and the only complaint I had was that it sits too high for practical use on this partic. rifle, even with a Beartooth comb-raising kit- it just looked and felt too awkward. However, on a rifle with a higher comb which would otherwise be OK with a high scope, I imagine it would be just fine.

(HollowPoint- pm or e-mail me and I can do some measuring if this is the sort of thng you're looking for. E-mail might be better since the CGN server seems to be having some problems recently.)

I have a Bushnell trophy with a ajustable 3 or 5 moa dot. You can also select a cross or a "shotgun" reticule. Got my first deer with it this fall. Works great on my "jerkomatic" (Hey Red !).
