I'm looking into getting a red dot scope for my .54 cal traditional muzzleloader. Any suggestions? I was thinking of a Bushnell in the $100.00 range.

I have lots of these scopes to sell you in this price range but I don't think that they will survive very long on a muzzleloader or heavier recoiling center fire rifle. These only come with a year warranty and once they stop working are not worthwhile to pay to have repaired. Try the Bushnell holo sight at about $350 to $399 as these have a much better history and are built to sustain 12 ga. shotgun recoil. Phil.

What about the new Bushnell Trophy red/green dot scope model # 73-0132P. From what I understand, it has been built to withstand the recoil of a rifle. Gun stores have offered to install it and bore-sight it in for $185.00.
What do you think?

Do you sell UltraDot sights, if not do you know who does?

TIA
