While cleaning my telescope last night I realized the finder scope was actually a 11mm variable red dot sight. I actually took it off the scope and mounted it on my Gamo 68, fits perfect. Do a search on telescope finderscopes or accessories and do a price comparison with what you find on gun sites, you might find a great deal. On further research, some astronomy sights have coatings on their glass which would make daylight use impractical so best to check just in case.
